Refund policy

Our returns policy is valid for 30 days. If it is over 30 days since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange except in the case of warranty issues.

We will not provide a refund or exchange if you simply change your mind about a product you have purchased or have purchased an incorrect solution to your yard without seeking professional advice from us.

To be eligible for a return within 30 days, your item must be unopened, unused and in the same condition that you received it.

You must contact us before returning any item for any reason. We will refuse any package returned to us that does not have a properly issued return merchandise authorisation (RMA) number on the outside of the package.

An RMA number may be obtained by emailing info@robotmowersaustralia.com.au. Our customer service staff can help you Monday through Friday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm EST.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase from Robot Mowers Australia.

Repairs (if applicable)

If you have a minor problem with your item, a free repair can be provided to remedy the product to working order. If, during the inspection it is determined the product was willfully neglected to deteriorate to a major failure, a repair or refund may be declined.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 14 days from approval. The cost of shipping your order to you (and return freight if applicable) will be deducted from the refund amount

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

Before calling us, wait 14 days. If you haven’t received a refund yet, double-check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Optional Accessory items (if applicable)

If you are being refunded on an appliance, eg robot mower or other battery tool due to failure, the refund does not apply to any optional accessories like garages, blades etc that were purchased together with the appliance being refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need to exchange it for the same item, email us at service@robotmowersaustralia.com.au and we will organise pick up of the defective unit and replacement with a new one.

Shipping

To return your product, email us for return instructions, including the address to send the item to and an RMA number.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If shipping an item over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

Robot Mowers Australia Warranty Policy

At Robot Mowers Australia, we stand behind the quality and performance of our products. This warranty policy outlines the terms and conditions under which we offer warranty service for our robotic mowers.

Warranty Coverage

Robot Mowers Australia provides a manufacturers warranty service to all brands we sell. Warranty starts on the date of purchase. The stated manufacturer warranty documentation takes precedence and can be found within the product pages of our website, manufacturers website and/or documentation provided with the goods. This warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use, provided the product has been properly maintained and operated in accordance with the user manual.

What the Warranty Covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
  • Faulty or malfunctioning electronic components
  • Motor or battery defects under normal use

What the Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including blades, filters, and tyres
  • Damage caused by improper use, neglect, or lack of maintenance
  • Damage due to water exposure outside of rated conditions
  • Modifications or repairs not performed by us or another authorised dealer - this includes opening of the shell of the mower.
  • Damage caused by external factors such as weather, animals, or vandalism

Warranty Claim Process

If you believe your robotic mower has a manufacturing defect or malfunction covered under warranty, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer support team via info@robotmowersaustralia.com.au with your proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue. We do not accept warranty claims over the phone or by messaging services.

  2. Troubleshooting: Our team will attempt to troubleshoot the problem remotely to determine if it can be resolved without the need for return or service.

  3. Return Authorization: If troubleshooting does not resolve the issue, you will be asked to return the product to us and be given instructions for shipping the product to our service centre in Sydney.

Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product to Robot Mowers Australia for any repairs. Payment for any shipping that was organised by Robot Mowers Australia must be paid in full before the product can be returned to the customer. 

Once the product is received and assessed, if the repair falls under warranty,  Robot Mowers Australia will ship the repaired product back to the customer at Robot Mowers Australia's cost, otherwise freight will be at the customers cost.

When returning items for repair, please ensure the product is securely packaged, as Robot Mowers Australia is not liable for any damages incurred during transit. Note due to the Lithium battery contained within Robotic Mowers, the package must be marked and shipped as Dangerous Goods and must travel by road freight only.

Repair or Replacement

Once we receive your product, our technicians will inspect and test it. If the defect is covered by this warranty, we will repair or replace the defective parts or the entire unit at our discretion. If the product cannot be repaired and a replacement is required, we may provide a refurbished or equivalent product if the original model is no longer available subject to final assessment by the manufacturer.

Out-of-Warranty Repairs

If the repair is not covered by warranty, we will provide you with an estimate for the cost of the repair and return shipping. No repair work will be undertaken without your approval.

Limitation of Liability

This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product. Robot Mowers Australia is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product, including but not limited to loss of time, inconvenience, or lawn damage.
