Luba 3 AWD vs 3000 vs 5000: Which Model Should You Buy?

The AWD 1500 isn't just a smaller coverage cap on the same mower, it's a lower-spec model. It runs LiDAR and AI Vision for navigation but has no RTK hardware, and its dual 88W motors cut at up to 400m² per hour. At $3,899 it suits a straightforward lawn up to 1,500m² where centimetre-level RTK accuracy isn't essential.

The 3000 ($4,899) and 5000 ($5,599) share the same hardware: full Tri-Fusion navigation (LiDAR, RTK, and AI Vision), dual 165W motors, and up to 500m² per hour cutting speed. The only real difference is coverage and battery capacity, 3,000m² versus 5,000m², and the $700 gap reflects that. Buy the 3000 if your lawn sits comfortably under 3,000m². Buy the 5000 if you're near that mark or want headroom for a growing property. For anything larger again, the 10000 ($7,899) uses the same Tri-Fusion system with a faster 650m² per hour cutting rate for estate-scale blocks.

Even with the free iNavi NetRTK service, Australian units for the 3000, 5000, and 10000 still ship with a physical RTK reference station as backup, so factor that into the install regardless of which model you choose.

How Much Does the Mammotion Luba 3 Cost?

Four models, priced by coverage and hardware: the AWD 1500 is $3,899, the AWD 3000 is $4,899, the AWD 5000 is $5,599, and the AWD 10000 is $7,899. All prices are AUD. The 1500 is the only one without RTK hardware, which is reflected in the lower price.
