Segway Navimow X350 — FAQ
What area can the Navimow X350 mow?
The X350 is rated for lawns up to 1.5 acres (around 6,000m²). It's designed for larger residential properties and smaller commercial sites where coverage and uptime matter. It covers approximately 0.3 acres per charge session.
Does it need a perimeter wire?
No. The X350 uses EFLS 3.0 navigation — RTK GPS, visual SLAM, and inertial odometry — to map and hold virtual boundaries without any buried wire.
How long does the battery last?
The X350 has a 10Ah battery providing up to 200 minutes (just over 3 hours) of runtime per charge. It recharges in around 80 minutes. Thirty minutes of charging gives it enough power to cover approximately 500m² — useful context for large properties that need multiple sessions.
What slopes can it handle?
The X350 handles slopes up to 27°. With its larger battery, it manages extended sessions across hilly terrain without being recalled to dock mid-task as frequently as smaller models.
How does it avoid obstacles?
VisionFence — a 300° RGB and time-of-flight camera system — detects over 200 types of obstacles. The X350 can identify more than 24 animal species and automatically pauses or reroutes in Animal-Friendly Mode.
How fast does it mow?
The X350 moves at around 1 metre per second — faster than the X315 and X330. This contributes to its higher daily coverage capacity, reducing the number of charge cycles needed across a large property.
Can it handle multiple zones?
Yes. Multiple zones are configured and managed through the Navimow app, with individual schedules, cutting heights, and mowing patterns per zone. The X350's runtime makes it well suited to properties with several distinct areas.
How loud is it?
Under 60dB(A) — no louder than a normal conversation. Suitable for overnight scheduling on properties where noise management matters.
Is it weatherproof?
IP66 rated. Operates in rain without issue. Weather-adaptive mode monitors forecasts and returns the mower to dock before frost or heavy weather arrives.
What does setup involve?
Mount the GNSS antenna, connect via the Navimow app, and map your property boundaries. For a 1.5-acre property with multiple zones, allow 1-2 hours for the initial mapping. No professional installation required for most sites.
What warranty does it come with?
3-year manufacturer warranty through an authorised dealer. Robot Mowers Australia provides local warranty support — no dealing with overseas logistics if something needs attention.
