The MOVA LiDAX Ultra 1200 AWD Flex is the one to buy when your lawn is steep, lumpy or both. It drives all four wheels with hub motors, has front-wheel suspension and climbs slopes up to 80% (38.6°). Navigation is 360° 3D LiDAR plus AI vision, so there's no boundary wire and no RTK station.

Two-wheel-drive robot mowers tend to spin out on wet banks and get hung up on tree roots. The AWD Flex crosses 6cm obstacles and keeps traction where rear-drive models give up, which makes it a good fit for hillside blocks and sloping acreage lawns.

It's rated for slopes up to 80% (38.6°). That's steep enough for most hillside suburban blocks and embankments that would stop a two-wheel-drive robot mower.

What size lawn is it suited to?

Lawns up to 1,200m². It mows 160 to 180m² per charge and recharges in about 45 minutes.

Does it need a boundary wire or RTK base station?

No. It navigates with 360° 3D LiDAR and AI vision. You set the boundary by driving it around the lawn with the MOVAhome app.

How high an obstacle can it climb over?

Up to 6cm, which covers most tree roots, small kerbs and bumps between lawn areas.

Will I still need to trim edges?

UltraTrim™ 2.0 cuts to within 3cm of uneven edges and mows right over edges that are level with paths or mowing strips. You may still need an occasional trim in tight spots.

Yes. UltraView™ 2.0 isn't affected by shadows or changing light, so it performs day and night.
