How far does the mop actually extend?

Up to 17cm from the pivot point when the MaxiReachX mop extension activates, which is enough to get under low cabinet toe-kicks and around chair and table legs that a fixed mop head can't reach. The side brush extends a further 12cm to sweep skirting boards and narrow gaps.

Will it work on carpet?

Yes. An ultrasonic sensor detects carpet and adjusts automatically, lifting the mop pads on thicker pile, boosting suction on carpet, or avoiding delicate rugs entirely depending on how you configure it in the app.

How often do I need to empty the dust tank?

The base station's EcoCyclone bagless dust tank holds up to 100 days of debris before it needs emptying, based on Mova's in-house testing under a single-emptying test. Actual runtime depends on how much floor area you're covering and how much debris it's picking up.

Does it handle pet hair without tangling?

Yes. The TroboWave DuoBrush, anti-tangle side brush and anti-wrap omni-wheel work together to keep hair from wrapping around the brushes, and Pet Care mode detects pets and pet waste with up to 99.9% accuracy so it can clean around them.
