Frequently Asked Questions

What does LiDAR add over the RTK and vision system on other RockMow models?

LiDAR maps the garden faster and more precisely than vision alone, which shows up most in complex layouts, dense garden beds and shaded areas where camera-only systems can lose accuracy. It's the same reason it's Roborock's flagship model.

How big a lawn can it handle?

Up to 2,000m². If you need more coverage and don't need LiDAR specifically, the RockMow Z150 covers up to 5,000m² on the standard RTK and vision system.

Why choose 4WD?

The 4WD platform climbs slopes up to 80% versus 45% on 2WD models, and the dynamic suspension keeps all four wheels planted on uneven or undulating ground where a 2WD mower can lose traction.

Does the Z120 LiDAR need a perimeter wire?

No. Between the LiDAR sensor and RTK plus AI vision, it navigates entirely wire-free with no perimeter cable to bury.

What's the warranty?

3 years domestic warranty from Roborock, with the battery separately covered for 2 years.

Manufacturer's Warranty

The Roborock RockMow Z120 LiDAR is backed by a 3-year domestic warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use, excluding consumable parts such as blades. The battery is separately covered by a 2-year battery warranty.

To make a warranty claim, contact Robot Mowers Australia with your proof of purchase. Our team will assess the fault and coordinate repair, replacement, or refund in line with the warranty terms.

Australian Consumer Law

In addition to the manufacturer's warranty, this product is covered by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover consumable parts (such as cutting blades), or damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, use outside of recommended operating conditions, or failure to follow the care and maintenance instructions in the user manual.
