Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Q105 need a perimeter wire or RTK antenna?

No. It uses RTK plus AI vision to navigate, so there's no wire to bury. The RTK receiver is compact and mounts near the charging station rather than requiring a separate antenna installation.

How big a lawn can it handle?

Up to 500m². For anything larger, the RockNeo Q110 covers up to 1,000m² on the same platform.

Does it come with edge mowing built in?

No, the PreciEdge module is an optional accessory on the Q105 rather than included as standard. If clean lawn edges without a separate trim matter to you, the RockMow S108 has PreciEdge included from the factory.

What's the difference between the Q105 and Q110?

The Q110 has a larger 4.6Ah battery and covers up to 1,000m² with a faster charge time, versus the Q105's 4.0Ah battery and 500m² coverage. Everything else on the two models is the same.

Can it handle slopes?

Yes, up to 45% (24°), which covers most suburban lawns with moderate slope. For steeper terrain, the 4WD RockMow Z-series handles up to 80%.

What's the warranty?

2 years domestic warranty from Roborock, with the battery separately covered for 2 years.

Manufacturer's Warranty

The Roborock RockNeo Q105 is backed by a 2-year domestic warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use, excluding consumable parts such as blades. The battery is separately covered by a 2-year battery warranty.

To make a warranty claim, contact Robot Mowers Australia with your proof of purchase. Our team will assess the fault and coordinate repair, replacement, or refund in line with the warranty terms.

Australian Consumer Law

In addition to the manufacturer's warranty, this product is covered by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover consumable parts (such as cutting blades), or damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, use outside of recommended operating conditions, or failure to follow the care and maintenance instructions in the user manual.
