About the Terranox CM240M1
The CM240 is Segway's flagship commercial mower, built for sites up to 24,000m² (6 acres). It runs a dual-motor, dual-deck, 12-blade cutting system and all-wheel drive that handles 40° (84%) slopes, which is the sort of incline that stops most robotic mowers dead. Navigation is wire-free EFLS with Network RTK and 360° VisionFence, so there's no boundary wire to bury and no antenna to install on-site. It's rated at 68 dB(A), quiet enough to run overnight without complaints from neighbouring properties, and it reports back through NavimowFleet, so if you're managing this alongside other units, it's all visible from one app or web portal.
Why the Garage X and MowGate are in this bundle, not optional extras
On a 24,000m² site the mower is out there in all weather, and the Garage X is what stops UV and rain from chewing through the housing and charging contacts over a couple of seasons. It's purpose-built for the Terranox footprint, doesn't interfere with RTK or GPS signal, and has flip-top access to the keypad so you're not dragging a heavy mower off its dock to change a setting.
The MowGate solves the problem that trips up a lot of larger properties: fenced zones. If your site has separate areas divided by fencing, front paddock, main oval, a service yard, the mower can't get from one to the other on its own. MowGate senses the mower approaching, unlocks, and lets it through automatically, then locks again behind it. That turns several disconnected zones into one mowing job instead of several manual interventions a week.
Five blade packs
Terranox blades wear fastest on larger cutting decks doing daily runs, and running out mid-season means a mower sitting idle. Five packs gets you well ahead of that on a large site.
