Sunseeker X3 Wireless Robot Lawn Mower

The Sunseeker X3 is our wire-free mower for standard suburban lawns up to 800m². No perimeter wire, no buried cable to nick with the whipper snipper. You set the boundary once from your phone and it mows on schedule.

How it navigates

The X3 combines RTK satellite positioning with VSLAM visual mapping and AI-driven 3D vision, branded together as the AONavi system. RTK gives it centimetre-level position in the open, and the vision system takes over in the shaded, satellite-poor spots near trees, fences and the house where wire-free mowers usually struggle. The dual cameras do more than dodge obstacles; they build a 3D map of the yard and recognise over 200 object types, from pets to garden tools, so the mower works around them instead of bumping through them.

The cut

Floating Cut Technology lets the deck follow your ground contours, so you get an even finish without scalping the high spots. The X3 plans its path in straight lines and covers the lawn methodically rather than wandering at random, which means a tidier result and less time running. It handles slopes up to 17° (30% grade) and runs at around 60dB, quiet enough to mow without bothering you or the neighbours.

Expect roughly 240m² an hour of cutting, about 90 minutes to charge and up to two hours of runtime. It weighs 9kg.
